General information

"Signal from afar that a break-in is pointless"

Often underestimated but effective protection against robberies, break-ins and theft begins with the preventive external effect of your camping vehicle. After our wireless external siren, our LED warning sign is the most conspicuous and therefore most effective preventive protection.

Even from a distance, the red LED signals that your camper is secured against break-ins, making it unattractive to many offenders.

Initial commissioning

Charge the LED warning sign for at least 1 hour before using it for the first time (full charge).

When charging, use a standard USB-C charging cable (already included with the CarPro-Tec).

A charging time of 1 hour is sufficient to ensure a full charge.

Daily use

Our new LED warning signs from approx. April 2024 will automatically remain permanently switched on and arrive at your premises in this state. Devices of the previous generation have a switch for switching on/off.

For appliances with On/Off switch:

Activate/deactivate the LED warning sign by pressing the on/off switch on the underside of the device. We recommend using the LED warning sign in continuous operation (operating time with one battery charge approx. 12 months). This prevents accidental forgetting to switch on (no preventive external effect).

Note: In extreme summer outdoor temperatures, increased heat may be generated between the window pane and roller blind (>70°C) when the blackout roller blinds are closed during the day. We expressly point out that heat-related damage to the LED warning sign is not covered by the warranty. You should therefore either refrain from darkening during the day or ensure adequate ventilation.

Installation

The LED warning sign is attached to the interior of the vehicle using the enclosed special adhesive pad on the windscreen of the body door or any window from the inside.

Please observe the installation instructions for the special adhesive pads included in the scope of delivery.
